Abstract investigates the harm of jet laser cutting on the human body and the environment. The results of pollution of the working fluid jet laser system LCS-5-400 are presented. Modern filtration methods of the working fluid and the efficiency of their use are studied. The values of stresses in the contact zone of the jet with the surface of the treated material with waterjet are stated. The evaluation of the possibility of using mechanical, chemical, physical and biological water filtration methods is performed. Investigation of the real state of the waste liquid in the hydrocutting lathe; water samples were collected from the pool, which contained liquid after the two-day operation of the lathe. The set value of air and water pollution, which can be reduced by better filtering, bring them closer to European standards of water quality. The energy loss at the hydroabrasive treatment and their impact on the efficiency of the process are Determined. Modern trends in the water filtration industry are investigated.
