The way of receiving the set roughness of the surfaces of articles covered with gas and thermic dusting and treated with cutting is characterized with the treatment of the sample piece when the covering is taken off from the sample piece for the number of turns which equals the part after the division of covering thickness quantity into the quantity of cutting depth which is chosen as a marginally possible one for the equipment used during the treatment and which is also divisible by the quantity of covering thickness; after each turn we measure the roughness of the treated surface, then calculate the quantity of margin due to which we get the least indicator of the roughness of the treated surface and then this margin is accepted for the treatment of surfaces of such thickness; then we calculate the dependence of the roughness of the treated surface on the speed of cutting and feed by conducting additional standard multifactorial experiment on the treatment with the cutting for a turn using the same instrument with the cutting depth that equals the quantity of the set margin changing the cutting speed and feed of the similar sample piece; after that substituting in the received dependence the qualities of the set roughness and the accepted margin or cutting speed we find the cutting speed or the feed which will provide the receiving the set roughness while treatment with cutting due to a turn the surfaces of articles covered with gas and thermic dusting of the present thickness. |
