Digital radio direction finding is a radio electronic technique which can be used in radio electronic devices of different purposes, i.e.: radio navigation, radio location, radio astronomy, radio monitoring. This technique performs random spatial receiving of radio radiation for the set of possible directions on the source of this radiation by the linear phase array forming the array of coherent time readout of all receiving radio channels and digital complex spectral analysis of the array; the technique allows receiving complex amplitude of spectrum components with frequencies which respond to the set of possible previous directions on the source of this radiation. The extremum frequency with responding maximum level module of complex amplitude of spectrum components is determined. Then, a subarray of spectrum components which contains the component with extremum frequency is separated out. Zero value of complex amplitude arguments of all spectrum components of separated subarray is calculated. It is divided into real and imaginary parts of a corresponding analytical signal. The argument value of a complex analytical signal which responds to a spatial position of a phased array is calculated. Taking into account the extremum frequency and argument value of a relevant complex analytical signal, the final direction on the radio radiation source can be determined. The technical result is the following: the increase of direction finding accuracy without additional time and equipment resources.
