An interlocking hob cutter consists of a body and toothed racks of two types. The toothed racks made as a whole with the body have shaping teeth with side input and output cutting edges. The toothed racks, made separately from the body, are rotary and have slotting teeth, vertex rear surfaces and cutting edges. The rear side surfaces of rack teeth, which are made as a whole with the body, are formed by multiple-thread left and right helical lines. Between these toothed racks at least three rotary racks with vertex cutting edges of slotted teeth are installed with increasing height on each subsequent rack. Each of the next rack teeth is narrowed and shifted relative to the previous rack tooth in the direction of input side cutting edges of racks with shaping teeth. The invention provides for increase of output of gears and resistance of the cutter. |
