The invention relates to the field of radio electronics and can be used in radio-electronic means for different purposes, in particular in radio navigation, radio astronomy, radio-monitoring. The method for digital complex radio direction finding is in fact that one performs spatial reception of radio radiation for a set of possible directions to its source with a linear phased antenna array through formation of a massif of coherent tine marks of the output radio-signals for all the receiving radio-channels and its digital complex spectral analysis, with obtaining complex amplitudes of spectral components with frequencies that correspond to the set of possible directions to the source of radio radiation. One determines extreme frequency to which the maximal level of module of complex amplitude of spectral component corresponds. Then in spectrum of massif of received coherent time marks of output radio-signals of all the receiving radio-channels one separated the sub-massif of spectral components that includes component with extreme frequency, with its reverse transformation to respective massif of restored coherent time marks of output radio-signals for all the receiving radio-channels. After that from the massif of the renewed coherent time marks of the output radio-signals of all the receiving radii-channels one separates the sub-massif of its first renewed marks with carrying out its complex digital spectral analysis, and with determination of complex amplitude of spectral component with extreme frequency. After that one determines difference of arguments of complex amplitudes of spectral components with extreme frequency that are determined for the massif of coherent time marks of the output radio-signals of all the receiving radio-channels and separated sub-massif of the first restored time marks of the signals. Then by extreme frequency and with account of difference of arguments of respective spectral components of spectra of received and restored marks of signals one determines the end direction to the source of radio radiation. The invention increases accuracy of radar direction finding.
