A method for digital correlation direction finding relates to radio electronics and can be used in radio-electronic means for different purposes, in particular in radio-navigation, radio-location, radio-astronomy, radio-monitoring. Radiofrequency emission is received by two fixed separated in space antennae with further pre-selection, coherent transformation of frequency within the pass band and amplification in two radio-channels that are adjusted to given working frequency. Amplified radio-signals are transformed to digital form with determination of complex frequency spectra of those. After that frequency shift for those from the band of intermediate frequency to band of working frequency is performed through adding to the values of frequencies of spectral components of those the value of frequency shift that is equal to difference between the set working frequency of adjustment of radio-channels and intermediate frequency. After that inversion of one of those is performed, with multiplication of readings of same frequencies of direct and inverted shifted complex frequency spectra, with obtaining the product of shifted complex frequency spectra. Massif of real frequency components is separated, with determination of its complex frequency spectrum, for this extreme frequency that corresponds to spectral component with maximal module of complex amplitude is determined. Then from the massif of real frequency components sub-massif of its first readings is separated, with determination of its complex frequency spectrum. After that difference of arguments of complex amplitudes of spectral components with extreme frequency is determined for those determined for the massif of real frequency components and sub-massif of its first readings separated from it. Then by the difference of arguments obtained, and with account of extreme frequency of the complex frequency spectrum the extreme value of compensation parameter of one of radio-channels is determined. By the extreme value of compensation parameter of one of the radio-channels and with account of spatial arrangement of antennae direction to the source of radio radiation is determined. The technical result is in increase of accuracy of radio direction finding.
