The dissertation for getting the degree of candidate of technical sciences within a specialty 05.22.20 - maintenance and repair of vehicles. - Zhytomyr State Technological University, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Zhytomyr, 2017. The thesis is dedicated to topical scientific and practical issue - the improvement of the implementation of traction properties of category M2 buses in cities with the help of modern ITS components. Statistical analysis of the data obtained in the study of public transport system in the city of Zhytomyr was carried out. Factors that impact negatively on the operational efficiency of route bus services provided to city passengers were analyzed. A qualitative effect of ITS components on the efficiency of public transport system was found. The classification of the typical movement obstacles was suggested and mathematical models of equivalent circuits for various obstacles were calculated. The conceptual solution for improving the implementation of traction properties by increasing the average vehicle speed with the help of ITS technologies was given. The model of the average technical speed of vehicles of M2 category considering the correlation with artificial obstacles on the route and their likely resistance to the movement was improved. The ways of optimizing the monitoring of buses were suggested. Experimental studies confirmed the proposed theoretical equivalent circuit of obstacles on the route of vehicle in the city taking into account full and part-time stop before the obstacle, the coefficients of deceleration under braking and approaching to different equivalent schemes of obstacles were specified and the total time and total distance of overcoming one equivalent obstacles by vehicle functioning under conditions of ITS were defined more precisely. The adequacy of the calculated model of technical speed on the stretch between bus stops was confirmed. |
