Стаття висвітлює дидактичні та методичні аспекти організації навчання іноземних мов учнів початкової школи на засадах компетентнісного підходу. У ній проілюстровано принципи добору навчального матеріалу до компетентнісно орієнтованого змісту навчання, розглянуто вікові особливості молодших школярів та їх уплив на формування готовності до оволодіння змістом навчання, окресленим чинною програмою. Відповідно до розглянутих наукових положень запропоновано модель компетентнісно орієнтованого навчання іноземних мов учнів 1–4 класів.
The article outlines didactic and methodical aspects of organizing the process of teaching foreign languages to elementary school students with a competence-based approach. It describes the principles of selecting didactic material in order to provide competence-oriented content, explains how age peculiarities of elementary school students and their cognitive capabilities influence their aptitude to master the content of foreign language learning (which is determined by the curriculum). In accordance with the considered scientific principles, a model of competence-based teaching of a foreign language to students of grades 1-4 is suggested by the authors. |
