Автор статті доводить, що участь учнів у розробці і реалізації проектів сприяє становленню їхніх громадянських компетентностей, виховує відповідальність за розв’язання тих проблем, з якими школа, місцева громада зіштовхується вже зараз, і тих, які доведеться розв’язувати після закінчення гімназії. У ході реалізації проектів школярі набувають навичок участі в громадському житті через практичний досвід співпраці з місцевою громадою та владними структурами.
The author argues that students’ participation in the project development and implementation promote the development of their civil competencies, bring the responsibility for solving the problems with which the school, the local community are facing right now, and those that have to be resolved after high school. During the project students acquire skills to participate in public life through hands-on experience working with the local community and authorities. |
