Description The article is devoted to the description of certain methods which identify the dynamic formation of the structure of intelligence and the identity of the IT training profile students. The study uses a technique that includes the colour-associative test of M. Luscher, the definition of the Myers-Briggs typology, and a modified intelligence structure test for R. Amthauer. The verification of the effectiveness of the methodology was carried out by testing students of the Faculty of Information Technologies of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, the results of which are demonstrated on the basis of the obtained data. The proposed methodology allowed to reveal the peculiarities of the impact of studying at the university on the professionally important qualities of future IT industry professionals.
