2016 – 2017 рр. археологічна експедиція Київського університету імені Бориса Грінченка, організована Науково-дослідною лабораторією археології історико-філософського факультету проводила польові дослідження — розвідки та розкопки на території Обухівського району Київської області для виконання планової науково-дослідної теми «Давня історія України: суспільство і технології (за результатами археологічних досліджень) ». Головною метою було вивчення відомих та пошук нових пам'яток, насамперед великих поселень етапу ВІ-ВІІ трипільської культури. There are near 20 Trypillia Culture stage BI-II sites at Kyiv region. This period here is relatively less explored, than other stages, such as BII, CI or CII. The site at Kolomyitsiv Yar near village of Kopachov (Kyiv region, Obukhiv district) is not far from Trypillia. In 2016 archaeological expedition, organized by Kyiv Borys Grinchenko University (Ukraine) in cooperation with Graduate School “Human Development in Landscapes” Christian-Albrechts-Universität (Kiel, Germany) started investigations at this site. First time for this kind of sites was done magnetic prospection, which discovered on 3 ha surface anomalies from 19 houses and 5 pits. Houses were located in three rows along the stream on slopes of valley. At the area close to field remains of two pits were explored. They probably related to houses, destroyed some time before. Among finds from this pits were numerous fragments of pottery, bones, stones and small amount burnt daub. Pottery (“kitchen ware” or Cucuteni C type, painted, with incised decoration and without decoration) is typical for BI-II stage at this region. It is possible to date this site up to the last quarter of V Mill. BC. At 2017 only one Trypillia Culture site at this region was discovered. Site Zastugna-3 dated by Trypillia CI (Kolomijschyna I type)/ These materials make it possible to expand our knowledge of settlements of this time in the Middle Dnieper, the time and the ways of Trypillia population appearance here, and their relations with other cultures. |
