Description У статті представлено дидактичну характеристику проблеми формування змісту профільного навчання. Автор на основі емпіричних даних наголошує на необхідності модернізації змісту профільного навчання з огляду на потреби держави і суб'єктів освітнього процесу. Схарактеризовано критерії добору змісту освіти, виокремлено умови реалізації змісту профільного навчання. Обґрунтовано основні методологічні підходи, представлено розроблені дидактичні принципи, сформульовані найважливіші акценти, які мають стати дидактичними орієнтирамирозроблення і добору змісту профільного навчання.
Introduction. The article presents a didactic overview of the problem of forming of the content of profile education. The author, on the basis of empirical data, emphasizes the need of modernization of the content of profile education tailored to the needs of the state and subjects of the educational process. The criteria for the selection of the content of education were characterized, the conditions of implementation of the content of profile education were specified. The main methodological approaches were justified, developed didactic principles were presented, the most important accents were formulated, which should become didactic guidelines for the development and selection of the content of profile education.
Purpose. Substantiation of modern approaches and didactic characteristic of formation of the content of profile education.
Research methods. The following pedagogical research methods are applied in the article: analysis, synthesis, generalization of scientific sources, questionnaires, modeling.
Results. According to the results of our research, we propose four basic principles (criteria) that should be the basis of forming the content of profile education. We believe that it is expedient to analyze the content of education from the point of view of its conformity to at least one of four criteria. If the content cannot be justified by any of them, it is worth pondering, whether it is necessary to study it within the framework of the invariant component. Therefore, we have identified the following principles: a) orientation of the content of education on functional use of acquired knowledge (profile direction of knowledge and its practical relevance); b) selection of content of education taking into account the fundamental nature of knowledge (the ability to acquire new knowledge based on learned material); c) the modern character of knowledge must conform to the requirements of society, reflect the realities of the present; d) the orientation of educational content on the formation of personal values and value-semantic orientations of upper secondary school pupil.
Originality. The scientific novelty lies in of our research in substantiating the basic approaches and the distinguishing didactic principles of formation of the content of profile education.
Conclusion. We found that in the process of development and selection of content there should be focus on the importance: in the curriculum system to expand the palette of skills related to independent learning, selection of necessary information, its analysis and systematization, transformation, and application in unconventional and rapidly changing situations (multifunctional blocks of universal educational activities are taken as a basis -personal, cultural, general education, technological, communicative. Orientated basis of action is formed on the theoretical level as a generalized method, or principle of action); increased requirements to the level of formation of reflexive (reflexive and cognitive) activity of upper secondary school pupils (to enrich the content with the patterns of social, socio-civic and personal standards of behavior, formed on the example of the simulated typical situations and phenomena of real life. Increasing awareness of the value of learning in upper secondary school pupils develops their abilities, contributes to processes of self-education, self-development and self-realization, helps to solve effectively problems of differentiation and individualization of education, provides health-saving effect); in the training material, in the content of the subjects should be provided clear and transparent transition from «isolated» studies of students of the system of scientific concepts to their inclusion in the context of solution of educational tasks that are significant for professional and value orientation in life (educational, family, social, civil, environmental, healthcare, communicative, etc.) situations and situations of choosing the style of individual behavior. The content should contribute to the development of national identity, patriotism, professional identity, and to form tolerance and develop the need to be competitive in the modern labor market and a multicultural personality.
