У статті на основі осмислення сучасної практики і теоретичних підходів запропоновано та розкрито основні виміри проблеми «діти і гроші», розкрито їх у контексті особливостей сімейного виховання підростаючої особистості, сучасних викликів і ролі З МІ як основних детермінантів існуючих реалій та пошуку шляхів оптимізації у формуванні економічної компетентності підростаючої особистості; актуалізовано проблему кишенькових грошей та особливостей їх витрачання дітьми.
