Description Матеріал присвячено реформуванню в Україні системи інституційного догляду та виховання дітей, що розпочалося в 2017 р., зокрема реорганізації загальноосвітніх шкіл-інтернатів. Висвітлено обставини виникнення в 1956 р. в системі освіти України цього типу закладів освіти. На основі аналізу законодавчо-нормативних документів розглянуто наміри лідерів КПРС створити нову систему освіти, в якій провідна роль відводилась школам-інтернатам – новому типу закритого навчально-виховного закладу, де діти від народження до 17–18-річного віку мали цілеспрямовано виховуватися як активні будівники комуністичного суспільства. На прикладі опублікованої вже після смерті видатного українського педагога В. Сухомлинського його статті «К вопросу об организации школ-интернатов» показано, що її автор категорично не погоджувався з ідеєю виховувати в закритих навчальних закладах переважну більшість дітей країни й намагався донести до громадськості своє розуміння згубних наслідків тенденційної установки на обмеження спілкування дітей з батьками.
The material is devoted to the reform of the institutional care and upbringing system for children in Ukraine, which began in 2017, in particular the reorganization of general-education boarding schools. The circumstances of the emergence in 1956 of the educational system of this type of educational institutions of Ukraine were highlighted. On the basis of the analysis of legislative and regulatory documents, the intention of the leaders of the CPSU to create a new system of education was considered, in which the leading role was assigned to boarding schools - a new type of closed educational institution, where children from the birth up to the age of 17-18 had to be purposefully brought up as active builders communist society. An example of his article "On the question of the organization of boarding schools", published by the famous Ukrainian teacher V. Sukhomlynsky after the death, showed that its author categorically disagreed with the idea of educating the vast majority of children in closed schools and tried to convey to the public his perception of disadvantaged consequences of a tendency to restrict communication between children and parents.
