UK: У статті досліджено оніми вторинного дискурсу англомовних текстів сучасної маскультури. Проаналізовано ономастикон вторинного світу циклу романів “A Song of Ice and Fire” Дж. Р. Р. Мартіна; визначено, що у вторинному дискурсі оніми виконують функцію репрезентації фрагментів Всесвіту, його вторинної концептуалізації реципієнтами. EN: This paper introduces a case study of the proper names and their functions in the process of secondary discourse production. Therefore, it aims at the clarification of such notions as “secondary discourse” and “proper names”. The research material is George Raymond Richard Martin’s bestselling epic fantasy series “A Song of Ice and Fire” and texts of its secondary discourse, submitted on Fanfiction.Net, GeoCities and Archive of Our Own. From cognitive-functional approach “secondary discourse” is viewed as a complex linguistic phenomenon and a dynamic process of information, ideas, feelings and emotions exchange, mediated by modern mass culture text corpora. The article examines the secondary discourse as a specific secondary creativity and a popular way of expressing intense feelings towards precedented text corpora i.e. “A Game of Thrones”, “A Clash of Kings”, “A Storm of Swords”, “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons”. The article also deals with the analysis of “A Song of Ice and Fire” “secondary” world features. Proper names are viewed as the specific means of its production. The research defines that proper names perform the creative function, causing new connotations and extra semantic associations, expand semantic boundaries of the precedented text corpora in the process of secondary discourse production. This paper also claims that secondary authors preserve the various naming systems, designed by G. R. R. Martin in “A Song of Ice and Fire”. It outlines two main types of proper names in the “secondary” world of “A Song of Ice and Fire”: anthroponyms and toponyms. Both types, used by G. R. R. Martin in the primary textspace and by secondary authors in the texts of the series’ secondary discourse create such onomastic background that would make the reader believe in the credibility of the “secondary” world of G. R. R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire”. RU: В статье исследованы онимы вторичного дискурса англоязычных текстов современной масскультуры. Проанализирован ономастикон вторичного мира цикла романов "A Song of Ice and Fire" Дж. Р. Р.
