Description Using e-learning gives students the opportunity to study at anytime and anywhere, they can master new disciplines and form additional competencies have already learned. Modern educators appreciate this type of education and place great hopes on it. It should be noted that e-learning is one of the most effective in training students in various fields and areas of education around the world. Famous teachers call e-learning as leading link in the 21st century. However, taking into account all the benefits of this type of training, it should be noted that electronic assessment is a challenge for the teacher, since it is difficult to assess the work that the teacher does not observe clearly. There is no guarantee that the student independently did this or that type of work, honestly fulfilled the task and understood the material provided. In the article a detailed analysis of the notion and process of evaluation of the student's level of education is made in general, and the solution of the problem of evaluation in electronic mode is proposed through the so-called formative assessment. The formative (internal) assessment is aimed at identifying the individual achievements of each student and does not imply either a comparison of the results demonstrated by different students and administrative interventions based on learning outcomes. The comparison of the evaluation process from the traditional to the formative has been made. A number of resources are proposed that will help to introduce a system of formative assessment in an electronic training course. The article also presents the tables that are used when introducing a formative assessment in an electronic training course. The author's example of the application of formative assessment in the electronic training course "Management of the system of electronic education of students of higher educational institutions" is demonstrated. DOI: https://doi.org/10.28925/2414-0325.2019.6.90100
Використання електронного навчання дає можливість студенту навчатися у будь-який час та у будь-якому місці, він може опановувати нові дисципліни та формувати додаткові компетентності у вже вивчених. Сучасні педагоги високо оцінюють даний вид навчання і покладають на нього великі надії. Слід констатувати, що електронне навчання є одним з найефективніших у підготовці студентів у різноманітних сферах та галузях освіти у всьому світі. Відомі педагоги називають електронне навчання провідною ланкою ХХІ століття. Проте, враховуючи усі переваги такого виду навчання, потрібно відмітити, що оцінювання в електронному режимі є певним викликом для викладача, адже важко оцінити роботу, за якою  не спостерігаєш наочно. Немає жодних гарантій того, що студент самостійно зробив ту чи іншу роботу, сумлінно виконав завдання чи зрозумів поданий матеріал. В статті здійснено детальний аналіз поняття діагностики навчальної діяльності студентів та запропоновано вирішення проблеми оцінювання в умовах електронного навчання за допомогою так званого формуючого оцінювання. Формуюче (внутрішнє) оцінювання націлене на визначення індивідуальних досягнень кожного студента і не припускає як порівняння результатів, продемонстрованих різними студентами, так і адміністративних втручань за результатами навчання. Здійснено порівняння процесу оцінювання від традиційного до формуючого. Запропоновано ряд ресурсів, які допоможуть запровадити систему формуючого оцінювання у електронному навчальному курсі. У статті також наведено приклади таблиць, які використовуються при впровадженні формуючого оцінювання у електронному  навчальному курсі. Продемонстровано авторський приклад застосування формуючого оцінювання в електронному навчальному курсі  «Управління системою електронного навчання студентів вищого педагогічного навчального закладу». DOI: https://doi.org/10.28925/2414-0325.2019.6.90100
