The last few years have been actively developing technologies of augmented reality VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality). In most cases, developments related to augmented reality and originally intended for military purposes are entertaining in nature and are used, for example, in computer games. However, today, augmented reality technologies have been sufficiently developed to be applied in one of the key areas of human activity - medicine. The use of AR and VR technologies in medicine will significantly improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment of patients' diseases, as well as facilitate the work of medical personnel and speed up their training. It is proposed to consider the main possibilities of using augmented reality systems in medicine and predict the prospects for their development.
