У статті висвітлюється жанрова своєрідність оповідання "Київські прохачі" І. Нечуя-Левицького. Звертається увага на особливості хронотопу, сюжетно- композиційну специфіку, функції пейзажу, смислове наповнення мікрообразів. Відзначено, що проблема буття найбільш упослідженої частини суспільства – представників соціального дна – не була новою для української та світової літератури. Вона порушувалась, наприклад, у творчості М. Гоголя, Є. Гребінки, Д. Григоровича, В. Гюго, Ч. Діккенса, Ф. Достоєвського, В. Короленка, М. Салтикова-Щедріна, А. Свидницького, І. Тургенєва, І. Франка, А. Чехова тощо. У творі І. Нечуя-Левицького ця проблема вирішується в несподіваних ракурсах. Трагічне в оповіданні переплітається з комічним.
Introduction. The creative works of Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi belongs to the well-known literary phenomena of the second half of the 19-th century and early 20-th century in Ukraine. His prose has such thematic groups as the country, clergy, intelligentsia, history and other. This author shows the life of beggars such as Mykola Gogol, Yevgen Grebinka, Dmytro Grygorovych, Victor Hugo, Charles Dickens, Fedir Dostoyevskyi, Volodymyr Korolenko, Anatol Svydnytskyi, Іvan Тurgenev, Іvan Franko, Anton Chekhov and other writers did it. "Kyiv petitioners", the story of Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi enlightens the life of Ukrainian beggars, propose their portraits and the types of conduct. This story is artistic phenomenon which is not investigated enough. Purpose. The object of our article is analysis of Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi’s story "Kyiv petitioners". The author’s attention focuses on the fable, compositional, stylistic, ethnological features of this work by the prose-writer. Меthods. In the article we relied on the cultural and historical method of a research of artistic phenomena, on the principles of objectivity and systematicity. Results. In the article Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi’s story "Kyiv petitioners" was analyzed. Іt was found out the functionality of the descriptions in particular landscapes and portraits in this writer’s work. The article focuses on the peculiarities of the author’s psychological characterization. Originality. The article examines the genre peculiarities of Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi’s story "Kyiv petitioners". It focuses on the author’s originality of the artistic understanding of this genre. The writer’s style was characterized in the publication. Conclusion. The classic of Ukrainian literature Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi is the master of social and every day life story. His "Kyiv petitioners" is bright sample of writer’s realism and humor. This work by the prose-writer is rich in national characters, traditions, coloration. |
