У пропонованій рецензії на навчальний посібник «Українська мова як іноземна. Підготовка до тесту. Середній рівень» схарактеризовано його формально-структурні та функційно-змістові особливості дидактичного, лінгвістичного та культурологічного плану; високо оцінено його прогнозований рейтинг серед навчально-методичної літератури подібного типу; визначено його гідний статус і відповідність сучасним вимогам до літератури з вивчення української мови як іноземної, а також потребам і тенденціям новітньої лінгводидактики.
At the end of 2017 the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University has published a textbook «Ukrainian as a foreign language. Preparation for test. Training tasks. Middle level», which became the winner of the XII «Best Mykolaiv Book» contest in the nomination «The Best Educational Publications and Textbooks» of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. The present manual review positively characterizes its novelty in didactic, linguistic and culturological features. The manual meets modern requirements for educational literature on the study of the Ukrainian language as a foreign language, as well as the needs and tendencies of modern linguodidactics. This book is addressed to the adults who have reached the appropriate level of language proficiency and is aimed at improving the already acquired knowledge of Ukrainian as a foreign language for daily communication. This manual can be used for exam preparation, for determining the level of language proficiency, for certain forms of control of the main types of speech activity during the study, as an additional material in the study of individual spoken topics of social and cultural orientation. The training manual is marked by compositional consistency: each of its 20 sections has a clear structure and contains sections – reading, listening, vocabulary and grammar, writing, speaking – in accordance with the five compulsory components that a learner of a foreign language needs to master. The manual offers various topics of daily communication on the basis of electronic publications of the contemporary Ukrainian press, which reflect contemporary Ukrainian realities to their utmost, and introduce users to the modern life of ordinary Ukrainians and the culture of Ukrainian nation. The response keys to all sections and content of the text from the «Audition» heading at the end of the manual (the audio CD is attached) makes it suitable not only for work with the teacher in the audience but also for self-directed work. This modern textbook with the diversity of forms and types of test tasks, the relevance of the topics, informative, interesting country studies material, the focus on intercultural communication, and most importantly, the authors' attempt to create a positive image of Ukraine, give an opportunity to hope for its wide demand among all who want to quickly master Ukrainian as a foreign or non mother language, and learn more about Ukraine and Ukrainians. |
