Активна інформатизація діяльності бібліотеки вимагає проведення досліджень її ефективності з метою забезпечення користувачів надійним і широким онлайновим доступом до фондів бібліотеки. Процес створення електронного каталогу (ЕК) і баз даних (БД) є інноваційним сегментом бібліографічного інструменту сучасних бібліотек. Отже, проблема вивчення інформаційних ресурсів бібліотеки потребує актуальності. Висвітлено роль ЕК бібліотеки у забезпеченні читачами достовірної та якісної інформації. Склад і структура ЕК. Описано Державну науково-педагогічну бібліотеку України ім. Сухомлинського. Проведено моніторинг віддалених користувачів індексів відвідувань БД «Періодика» у порівнянні з іншими БД в період з 2014 по 2018 рр. Підкреслено значення журналів як важливого джерела інформації в системі бібліографічного обслуговування користувачів. Окреслено перспективи подальших досліджень у цьому напрямку.
Active informatization of library's activity requires realization of researches of its efficiency with the purpose of providing the users with reliable and wide on - line access to the library's funds. The cre-ation process of e-catalog (EC) and databases (DB) is the innovative segment of the bibliographic instrument of modern libraries. Consequently, the problem of study of the library's informative resources demand gets its actuality. The role of library's EC in providing readers by reliable and high-quality information is exposed in the article. Composition and structure of the EC of the V.O. Sukho-mlynskyi State scientific and pedagogical library of Ukraine is described. It was conducted a moni-toring of the remote users of DB «Periodicals» visit indexes in comparison to the other DB in the period from 2014 to 2018. The value of magazines as an important source of information in the system of bib-liographic maintenance of users is described. The perspectives of further researches in this direction are outlined. |
