Дисертація є комплексним дослідженням процесів карбування монет та виготовлення їх підробок у Центральній та Східній Європі в період з XIV по XVII століття. В дослідженні виконано історіографічний аналіз вивчення процесів карбування монет за допомогою різних технологій. Описано повний виробничий ланцюг процесів виготовлення монет, використовуваний інструментарій. Продемонстровано перехід від ручного карбування монет до початку використання машин. Розкрито основні причини появи виробничих дефектів. Вивчено та класифіковано основні типи фальшивих монет досліджуваного періоду. Запропоновано нову аргументовану класифікацію фальшивих монет. Удосконалено метод визначення типу покриття на фальшивих монетах минулого. Комплексно вивчені процеси підробки золотих та срібних монет, проведено їх порівняльний аналіз. The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the processes of minting coins and manufacturing fakes in Central and Eastern Europe in the period from the XIV to the XVII century. The study presents a historiographical analysis of the processes of minting coins with different technologies, various kinds of sources are involved and described. Defined and described a complete industrial chain of the processes of manufacturing coins, described the tools which were used. The process of manufacturing coins is most appropriate to consider in a broader sense – since the process of obtaining raw materials. The process of minting coins have many methods and tools with other types of crafts, making available tools have become one of the causes of the phenomenon spread counterfeiting. Production cycle with manual minting coins was reduced to the following sequence of processes: mining and ore melting → incoming metal → metal cleaning → filling metal in forms to meet the right monetary weight → production of coin workpieces and dies → weight checking → minting of the workpieces by the hammer blows → correcting the defects of the dies.We held the parallels between the coinage of the wire minting in the Golden Horde and the Muscovite state. The feature of the manufacture of coins from a wire in Muscovite State unlike in the Golden Horde was the use of progressive tools - queen cells. Wired technology of the coinage was used in the production of coins in the Kyiv, Volyn and Podilya principalities and the Crimean Khanate. Production of the workpieces of wire provided significant savings, minimizing waste and raw material losses as a result of the melting of silver haze and waste can be recorded as its main advantage. This paper provides information on the coin issued stamps, given their characteristics. |
