У статті проаналізовано сучасні напрацювання вітчизняних дослідників, присвячені діяльності церковно-археологічних това- риств і установ України ХІХ – початку ХХ ст., розкрито тема- тичне спрямування студій, виділено перспективні напрямки для подальшого дослідження проблеми. This paper examines current achievements of national researchers on the activities of the church and archaeological societies and institutions of Ukraine XIXth – early XXth century, thematic orientation of studies are covered, perspective directions for future research of a problem are identified. It was established that this subject was studied only fragmentally in modern historical science; due to the territorial and geographical framework of these centres a number of problems on their history remained unresolved. It is noted that K. K. Krainiy, S. Z. Zaremba, L. V. Bazhenov, U. S. Zemskiy, I. A. Karsim, V. I. Ulyanovsky and some other modern scientists were engaged in the history of the church and archaeological societies of this chronological period. It is proved that one of the features of modern period of historical science was regionalization in the study of church archeology centers that from the one hand deepens the study of a particular union, involving the analysis of local sources, from the other hand, on the contrary, makes it impossible to create a synthetic work on all church and archaeological societies and institutions that functioned in Ukraine in the XIXth – early XXth centuries. Attention is focused on that fact that from existing church archaeological societies in ХІХth – early centuries in Ukraine the activity of Church and Archaeological Society at the Kiev Theological Academy in modern historical science was studied deepest, sufficient attention is also paid to Podilskyi eparchial historical and statistical committee (later – the society); The history of Kherson church archaeological society, Chernihiv church archaeological committee, Kharkiv church and archaeological society was presented in the context of broader related issues. The activities of Volyn church archaeological society and Poltava church archaeological committee remained almost unexplored. It was noted that historical science has the main issue - the creation of synthesis of general historical research on the history of the church and archaeological societies and institutions in Ukraine in the XIXth - early XXth centuries. |
