У статті проаналізовані листи-клопотання керівників Ініціативної групи та Ради родичів в’язнів Євангельських християн-баптистів до уряду СРСР, адміністративних та правоохоронних органів, міжнародних організацій щодо переслідування їх за релігійні переконання. Доведено, що радянська влада використовувала насильницькі методи боротьби з віруючими-християнами незареєстрованих громад України, оскільки їх вважала злісними релігійними дисидентами. The aricle deals with the analysis of solicitation letters written by the Initiatory group and the Relatives’ Council of Gospel Christian-baptists prisoners – these letters were addressed to the government of USSR, administrative and law enforcing authorities and to the international organization as regards of pursuing by their religious beliefs. The article shows that Soviet Power used violent methods of struggle against the faithful Christians of unregistered communities of Ukraine so far as Soviet Power considered them malicious religious nonconformists. The aim of the investigation is to analyze special and published literature which shows main methods of soviet punitive and repressive governmental sections in the process of struggle against the unregistered Gospel Christian-baptists meetings in 60s of XX century. The object of research is the unregistered part of Gospel Christian-baptists creed – members of this union defended their constitutional right for freedom of religion. The subject of investigation is analysis of punitive and repressive methods of USSR law enforcing services – these methods were used against the Initiative groups of and Relatives’ council of Gospel Christian-baptists prisoners in order to subdue and destroy this creed. Methodological basis of research include principles of historical method, objectivity and systematic method. In the process of investigation we made following conclusions: first of all cruel repression against religion unions of Gospel Christian-baptists began in 1960s – the aim of these repression was to subdue them to the totalitarian government. Secondly, despite punitive and repressive methods of law enforcing services leaders of the creed didn’t obey and moreover they struggled against this government by revealing information about repression against believers. In spite of all losses and even bereavement of this resistance, believers defended their constitutional right for freedom of religion. У ході проведеного дослідження ми прийшли до таких висновків: по-перше, на початку 60 – х років XX ст. розпочався жорсткий наступ на релігійні громади ЄХБ з метою повного підпорядкування тоталітарній владі. По-друге, незважаючи на карально-репресивні заходи правоохоронних органів, найстійкіші члени конфесії т.зв. «ініціативники», не скорилися і організували супротив злочинній владі, оприлюднюючи інформацію про репресії щодо віруючих в самвидавчій літературі. Хоча це протистояння для багатьох віруючих обернулося втратою здоров’я, а деяким навіть і життя, але своєю боротьбою вони відстояли своє Конституційне право на свободу совісті та віросповідання. |
